minor set back

Well, as expected, closing my Facebook wasn't as easy as I thought. NOT because I wasn't ready, but because the darn thing is tied to my growing photography business. Since I know there isn't much traffic here, I need some help with growing the following on my 'new' Facebook photography page. I apologize in advance for even having to ask this, but would all of you friends (and mostly family) who follow along with this blog kindly reLIKE my photography page on Facebook. PRETTY PLEASE! andddd promote away if it's not too much to ask. Eek. Starting over from scratch with the photography page kind of scares me but it has to be done. Ugh!

Thanks so much in advance!!!

Click here for the actual page.

Also, I'll slowly be adding more of my albums back to the photography Facebook page... so much to do!

J & I engagement

In my spare time I've been working on all the editing for numerous photo sessions. I promise I'll try to get all the editing done in a "reasonable amount of time." In the meantime, here are a few more of my favorites from J and I's engagement session a couple weeks ago. More to come... 2 weeks! (Money Pit style) ;)

sneak peak

I know, I know... it's only one. Apologies. My intention was to do a few each from the wedding we did yesterday and a couple of the engagement photos from this afternoon but here's the thing... weddings are exhausting! For real...I'm beat!    And also... apparently one thousanddddd (plus a few...) photos loading to the computer takes more than 10 seconds... aka - the length of my patience tonight. SOOOO ... whatever...

J and I were perfect! J loves having her photo taken so she made my job exttttremely easy. And I... he was just along for the boat ride. Thanks for keeping the bride to be safe (and dry)! I very much look forward to enjoying their wedding next summer... as a guest!  Congratulations again and Thank You so much for the beautiful day at the cabin... amazing!
Looking forward to relaxing and enjoying... hopefully my exhaustion has worn off by then ;)

S family & engagement photos

We lucked out this past weekend with some gorgeous weather (very unlike Wisconsin) and I had 2 days to take photos.

I had the opportunity to take some of Dave's cousins family with some engagement shots thrown in there as well. This little guy is a riot and reminds me a lot of my Tayt. Possibly less beasty than Tayt though :) After getting photos of the 2 families this weekend, I have come to the conclusion that one must take a bajillion photos of kids just to get a couple good ones. Here are some of my favorites :)

A big THANK YOU to this family for letting me gain some more experience. And for the ice cream ;) Thank you also to my sister, Casey, for providing the editing and eventual burning of the photos to a CD for this couple.
