technology cleaning

While attempting to stick to my New Year's resolutions yet again (these attempts come in very short, quick bursts... beware), I've done a couple things lately... I continue to read daily (most of the time), a couple weeks ago I emptied my inbox, and at the moment I'm reading through and documenting some of the notes left on my phone from the kids.

Now... I know these things do not seem very significant, by all means, buttttt my inbox contained over 523 emails (I believe) before I started this task so this alone took many days and an enormous amount of effort. How embarrassing?! FIVE HUNDRED emails... quite ridiculous... what kind of crazy person keeps FIVE HUNDRED emails... me... BUTTTT I am now pleased to report I have kept only 5 emails in my inbox daily for the last almost 2 weeks. Pat on the back for Courtney.

After reading through these, I know without a doubt they were Lia. And I'm awesome :)

Mr & Mrs festivities

I feel as though this marks the official beginning of Casey and Jake's wedding. The Shower. Saturday we had a wonderful time with lots of fabulous ladies. It was even better because I didn't have much to do ;) I wrote on some chalkboards, got prettied up, and graced everyone with skinny jeans and Aldo boots... yikes. Mom of SIX in skinny jeans... not something I want to happen all too often but it happened. Anyway... we had a great time and it only reminded me that we need to have more wine nights!

Here's to a smooth train of events to follow in the next...121 days... yes, I keep track. That's my job... sorta... ONE of my jobs ;)

wherein she wears a dress

We've been preparing for this for a few weeks now, Lia even longer than us... and this last weekend Lia received her First Holy Communion. Let me tell you, she was one happy little girl. I was quite surprised at how comfortable she was in her dress. We had her dress made by a friend's mother and it turned out beautiful! She is excited to wear it again tomorrow for the Crowning of Mary and asked to wear it for Casey and Jake's wedding. Now just to keep it clean and neat for Austyn... who is more than ready to wear it already :)

Almost a month ago now we got together with this little fella and his mom and sister. Drew and Mr Man here were born on the same day. Quite a comical day that was. His mother went into labor after her due date and I went before my due date. I thought for sure I was going to deliver our baby first leaving her quite angry... but little did we know, they had already delivered prior to us even arriving at the hospital to deliver our baby. Drew and Mr Man were born almost exactly 12 hours apart. :) My intention was to get them together monthly for some photos ... here they are at 4 months (ish)... enjoy!
