What is today? Thursday... Oc-freaking-tober... okay... I'm behind. Yet again. Story of my life. ANY way... Peyton and Lia started football and cheerleading in August. Yes... TWO MONTHS ago. We've been busy... give me a break ;)

I honestly think Lia only started the cheerleading because she wasn't quite sure she could handle playing football. She did mention wanting to play football but then she must have thought again...quickly. And Peyton of course is in love with anything involving a ball. He is pure Dave Smith repeat. Hands down.

Lia does a fantastic job keeping beat. She gets that from her mother. And anyone who knows Dave will attest to that. Two words. Running man. Yeah. His mad skills in dancing are lacking. I won't judge...

There are 2 games left for the kids. This Saturday is supposed to be beautiful. 60. and we're looking forward to it. That also means the last game will be 30. Because that's how Wisconsin rolls. Right to the gut. Love, Wisconsin.

Prepped this post and then forgottttt to publish it... oops! I guess you could call this normal fall attire... sorta. Wisconsin is *supposed* to be 80 degree weather today but I'm not completely convinced that's normal for this time of the year. Either way... when the weather was "normal" a couple weeks ago, this is what the kiddos were sportin... and no, I did not dress them.  ;)

S wedding sneak peak

This was the very first wedding where I was The Photographer. And to be referred to as The Photographer threw me off a little... lots of mixed emotions. I was very excited to do this wedding but at the same time very nervous I wouldn't get all the photos I wanted. I just wanted to make sure I got plenty of photos for the bride (and the groom). After the day was over, I'm quite certain quantity was not a problem. Quality on the other hand... we shall see after all this editing is finished. Wowza! Here is a very tiny sneak peak. The amount of time I'm actually able to sit at the computer for more than 5 to 10 minutes is very slim these days. So here goes... enjoy!

I know, I know... it's only one. Apologies. My intention was to do a few each from the wedding we did yesterday and a couple of the engagement photos from this afternoon but here's the thing... weddings are exhausting! For real...I'm beat!    And also... apparently one thousanddddd (plus a few...) photos loading to the computer takes more than 10 seconds... aka - the length of my patience tonight. SOOOO ... whatever...

J and I were perfect! J loves having her photo taken so she made my job exttttremely easy. And I... he was just along for the boat ride. Thanks for keeping the bride to be safe (and dry)! I very much look forward to enjoying their wedding next summer... as a guest!  Congratulations again and Thank You so much for the beautiful day at the cabin... amazing!
