birthday celebration

I may be the worlds worst blogger... or maybe I'm just plain lazy. I have about 2 or 3 other posts I want to put up after this one but I just don't do it. That should be a New Year's resolution...uh oh... that'll be another post soon and I'll be embarrassed to post about what I haven't done all year... remember that reading goal. Yeah... I think I'm on my 6th book. Embarrassing!  ANY way... over TWO WEEKS ago we celebrated Lia's 9th birthday. I have no idea how this child turned 9. I mean, really... 1, 2, 3... NINE. It's not fair. It goes too fast. There... there's my reasoning... I'm too busy enjoying the kids and not blogging. Yeah... that's right. :)

daily Smith fashion

I had an I don't care *what* you're wearing. As long as you have shoes on your feet, a shirt and pants on... get out of my house. I. am. leaving. afternoon. On the way out the door I made sure to get a photo of Austyn's choice of clothing for the trip. I don't remember where we went but I'm sure the general public was involved... She requested the chair be involved and carried it to our usual spot. She folded her legs just so. And she was absolutely confident in her fashion abilities. She may or may not be starting to resemble her mother...

J & I engagement - part II

I finally finished almost all the editing for the sessions done in October. Here are some more of the engagement session with J and I. Again, it was a beautiful day and I was in *love* with the boat...made for a great photo op!
