While keeping up on one of my daily blogs (aka - working), I watched this video on my all time favorite blog and had a hard time not jumping out of my seat. Good thing the earphones I have on are connected to my computer to keep me in my seat. Enjoy!

Steam Show 2010
Every year we look forward to the Steam Show in Edgar. This year was no different. Good food, good company, and lots of flea marketing.
A couple photos of the flea market. After a couple isles of endless clutter goodies, everything looks the same. I spied those 2 adorable kindergarten chairs and had to have them. They're waiting patiently in the living room now for a desk at the old new house.

Then there were these dolls waving us good-bye Sunday night. For the sake of sleeping soundly at night, none of these dolls came home with us.
Lia and Tayt made friends with a gentleman next to the Smith Brothers booth, and he and his wife were making ropes. By the end of the weekend, all my children had made their own ropes. This huge thing he called a monkey fist. Very neat looking deal-a-ma-bob. :)

And last but not least, the kids always remember the pony rides.

the end in sight
Sunday turned out to be a very HOT day at the ball diamond and the kids and I tried to stay out of the sun as best we could. We also tried to watch the game as best we could. As you can see, we may not have been completely focused on watching the game. I can feel the softball season coming to an end but I will control my excitement and prepare for the football season that is already in full swing.

second camping attempt
This last weekend we attempted the camping thing for the second time this summer. It was a rather last minute decision but since it was only 1 night, I figured we could pull it off. Silly me, I didn't look at the forecast but apparently God loves us and it was beautiful. Despite the bone chilling night, all was very pleasant.
Saturday after Peyton's game we finished packing, made a stop at the grocery store, and headed north. In forgetting the bathroom bag, we had to make another stop one-quarter of the way but we made it before the sun went down and got some time in the water. Dave was ahead of the kids and me playing ball and setting up the camper but he joined us later for supper.
Sunday morning fog - taken from the end of the dock

enjoying the beautiful Sunday morning

afternoon pontoon ride - enjoyed by everyone :)
