Peyton: typical teenager.
Lia: hard to catch a smile on camera. I'll keep tryin!
Austyn: she turned TEN on Sunday. I'm not ready. she is. also, she's a goof.
Tayt: working on his reading goal.
Nash: homework with Dad.
Drew: she's been all about writing her name as of late.
Meg: too much attitude for one little body.
Will: he looks cute in a lot of photos. let me assure you, this little one has a tttteeemmmpppeerrr. good.ness.

mastered the scowl

Quite a few of our kids have mastered this same scowl at a fairly early age. Will is no exception. He's got it down. Falls asleep anywhere, infamous scowl... officially a Smith!

yes, I *did* call him Nash. oops. happens a lot for all of them. and excuse my man voice and Dave's uuuugggghhhh in disgust in the background. I was videoing. He was cleaning.

spring!

we're definitely ready for it... spring!

60 degrees - we're outside. sunnn - we're outside.

this particular Saturday, Dave was working so after a long morning, the kids and I took a walk to the back woods. they love it down there and could probably spend all day down there!

before we walked, Austyn played with my camera. best thing ever. proof that I'm a real person, not just someone behind the camera all the time. thanks Austyn ;)

almost all the big ones have mastered tight rope walking this log :)

while the air was warm. the water was still pretty frigid.

Nash hasn't quite mastered walking the log ;)

the walk back home was a bit of a challenge. the front tire on the stroller was flat and Meg sitting on the front only made it more flat. at one point I was carrying Drew on my shoulders and pushing the cart. goodness. but her face. perfection.

and then they all had bathes :)

Tayt: blowing up water balloons.
Nash: happy boy.
Drew: still waking up.

playing a little catch up this week and posting two of my weekly photos. trying to do better, BUT the weather is warming up and really... I have no excuse. as usual! ;) enjoy!

Austyn: crazy hair, don't care.
Tayt: played hard. passed out by 6:47pm ;)
Nash: bed head and homework.
Drew: in complete awe. 
Meg: she got a bath that night. ;)
Will: lookin all old and stuff.
