T+ball

Last week was Tayt's first game of tee ball. Peyton, Lia, and Austyn all opted out of playing this year and by golly... I was *not* talking any of them into it. Having just ONE child in a sport... I'll take it!

I can't say for sure if Tayt was excited. His attire sure suggests he is pumped but the days and hours leading up to game time... not so pumped. I thinkkkk he's making progress and might even have enjoyed his game tonight. Here are photos from the very first night :)

etsy Friday

I have a thing for clutches lately. I got one at a garage sale and then another one at a local consignment shop. This may be the start to something... oh well! Clutches may not be the best option for this mom on the go. I'll start searching for totes or cross body bags :)

I am a huge wooden puzzle fan. Not sure I'd love all the pieces because I hate when they get lost but I really like this.

I mayyyy have an *extremely* hard time NOT buying this. I currently have NO cover on my phone but I think I'm in love with this... l.o.v.e!

sparking my wishes to sewing and/or quilt again

I think I sense another item to add to the list for my Dad ;) I'll wait to surprise him with that news until after Father's Day...

end of 2011-2012

The kids have been out of school for officially a week now. I can honestly say I look forward to the summer. Today may have been a trying day... I woke up brave and took all six of them to the grocery store. Then it down poured. I got wet. Really wet. And I was no longer so happy. All-in-all though it was a pretty good grocery shopping trip. (minus the gentleman who thought I hated my children and told me there were only 81 daysssss until school started... really dude... not cool!)

Back to the last day of school... we really, really enjoy our new priest. He is great with our congregation and even more so, our children. Below I think they have some plot happening... he looks like the Pied Piper :)

the graduating 8th graders plotted their revenge... and Father was soaked!

Part of me wanted to help him and dominate that water fight...
more of me wanted to stay dry :)
and thennnnn there were SIX... and Mom. Thank you, Casey, for the photo! I treasure these because I rarely remember to get them and hate having my photo taken. LOVE the memories with my kiddos though :)

another one bites the dust

The kids have this fascination with riding on the mower while Dave is mowing. Often times, they don't make it... here's the end result of Nash's turn on the mower with dad.
